Nevertheless, or, otherwise, provided that, still, since, such that, so, so that, therefore, nevertheless এর ব্যবহার

Nevertheless এর ব্যবহার : কোন কিছু আশঙ্কা করা সত্ত্বেও খারাপ কিছু ঘটেনি এরূপ অর্থে Nevertheless ব্যবহার করা হয় । যেমন :
He did not study hard, nevertheless he passed the examination.

Or এর ব্যবহার : অথবা, নতুবা, কিংবা বা খারাপ কিছু ঘটতে পারে এরূপ অর্থে Or বসে । যেমন :
Read or you will fail.

Otherwise এর ব্যবহার : অন্যথায় অর্থে Otherwise ব্যবহার করা হয় । যেমন :
Try hard otherwise you will fail.

Provided (that) এর ব্যবহার : যদি বা শর্ত প্রকাশে Provided that ব্যবহার করা হয় । যেমন :
He is welcome to come along, provided that he behaves himself.

Still এর ব্যবহার : তবুও, এতদসত্ত্বেও অর্থে Still ব্যবহার করা হয় । যেমন :
He worked hard still he failed.

Since এর ব্যবহার : কারণ বর্ণনা করা এবং সময়ের ব্যাপ্তি প্রকাশ করতে Since ব্যবহার করা হয় । যেমন :
(i) Since I am ill, I can not go out.
(ii) It is a long time since I saw you last.

Such that এর ব্যবহার : Such ... that এর অর্থ এমন ... যে , এত ... যে । যেমন :
Such was the weather that nobody could come outdoors.

So এর ব্যবহার : তাই, ফলশ্রুতিতে , সেজন্য ইত্যাদি অর্থে So ব্যবহার করা হয় । যেমন :
He did not try hard so he could not pass.

So ... that : এতই ... যে এই অর্থে So ... that ব্যবহার করা হয় । যেমন :
The man is so weak that he can't walk.

Therefore : সদ্য বর্ণিত বিষয়ে যুক্তি নির্ভর ফলাফল বর্ণনা করতে তাই বা ফলে অর্থে Therefore ব্যবহার করা হয় । যেমন :
She is only fifteen and therefore not eligible to marriage.
