Affirmative to negative exercise

Affirmative to Negative : হ্যাঁ বাচক থেকে না বাচক তৈরি করার নিয়মগুলো নিচে আলোচনা করা হলো :

Am, is, are, was, were, have, has, had, shall, should, will, would, can, could, may বা might থাকলে এদের পরে Not বসিয়ে Negative করা হয় । যেমন :
Affirmative : Sobuz is a good boy.
Negative : Sobuz is not a good boy.
Affirmative : We can do this work.
Negative : We can not do this work.

যদি উপরের Verbগুলি ছাড়া অন্য কোন Verb থাকে তাহলে 'Do' verb আনতে হয় এবং Tense ও Person অনুযায়ী 'Do' verb এর পরিবর্তন হয় । 'Do' verb এবং মূল Verb এর মাঝখানে Not বসে ।
Affirmative : Go there.
Negative : Do not go there.
Affirmative : They play football.
Negative : They do not play football.

Interrogative sentence এ Negative form এ Noun এর পূর্বে এবং Pronoun এর পরে not বসে । যেমন :
Assertive : He is not going to school.
Interrogative : Is he not going to school ?
Assertive : He does not play football.
Interrogative : Does he not play football ?

Adjective এর পূর্বে Not এবং Noun এর পূর্বে No বসিয়েও Negative sentence করা যায় । যেমন :
(i) No man can do this work.
(ii) He has no enemy.

কখনো না অর্থে Never এবং কিছু না অর্থে Nothing বসিয়েও Negative Sentence করা যায় । যেমন :
(i) He never goes to school.
(ii) They saw nothing in the room.
